Athletic Director Job Summary :
The Athletic Director shall develop, implement, and evaluate the athletic and athletic extracurricular programs of the South Eastern School District.
Qualifications:
The Athletic Director shall hold a Bachelor’s Degree; have experience with student athletics and extracurricular activities in a public school environment; knowledge of sports philosophy, sport psychology, physiology, sports management, and school law; progression in the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) Certification Program; such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. South Eastern School District ….providing progressive education to strengthen the global community. The South Eastern School District serves approximately 2,500 students in grades K-12 and is located in the southeastern portion of York County, bordering the Maryland line. The district covers over 105 square miles encompassing East Hopewell, Hopewell, Fawn, and Peach Bottom townships, and the boroughs of Cross Roads, Delta, Fawn Grove, and Stewartstown. The district seeks candidates that envision a community of learners engaged in continuous improvement that will meet the challenges of the 21st century; preparing graduates to be confident and well prepared to excel in a complex, interconnected, changing world.
