The role of the assistant principal is integral in all directional decision-making leading the school into the next phase of its development. This is a unique position for someone who is highly motivated, creative , and embraces innovation in the work of education and leadership. ABOUT EAST COOPER MONTESSORI CHARTER SCHOOL
(ECMCS) Established in 2003, we are a premier public Montessori school that serves 450 students from 3 years old through 8th grade. We value our educators and invest in them. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MONTESSORI ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL SC
State Certification in School Leadership Experience in leadership Experience in a variety of educational models Knowledge about effective and innovative instructional and evaluation techniques Montessori certification or willingness to certify in Montessori pedagogy True passion for growing schools, teachers, and students Experience with both elementary and middle school students is preferred. Are you skilled in interpersonal relations with students, parents, teachers, staff, and the general public? Do you have outstanding written and verbal communication skills? Are you team-oriented? Are you compassionate and caring while able to maintain professional boundaries? If so, you might just be perfect for this Assitant Principal position!
