Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following full-time position: Assistant Coordinator of Records in the Registrar’s Office.
The Assistant Coordinator of Records is responsible for the processing of information applicable to student records, demographics, and auditing of student record information each semester to ensure accuracy. Primary individual for processing electronic form workflow and document imaging. This person must be able to understand direction and adhere to established policies and procedures. The person must be able to use logic to analyze information to solve problems, as well as adapt well to workplace stressors such as customer service complaints, maintain a high level of accuracy and, maintain the privacy of student records (FERPA).

SC State Pay Band:

0 4 Salary range: 32,686.00 (minimum) – 46,578.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May be required to work nights and weekends and could require limited travel. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
Duties
Duties include, but not limited to:
1.

Student Record Audits:

Ensures all student record audits are completed with accuracy and within established timeframes. 2.

Demographics:

Processes all student demographic updates, ensuring all necessary documentation is placed on student record. 3.

Document Imaging:

Images all forms of paper records into the digital student record. Ensures all documents are imaged following policies and procedures. 4.

Enrollment Verifications:

Processes enrollment verifications per student requests. Ensures all university policies, and FERPA regulations are followed.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree. Two (2) years relevant experience in student services programs. Experience using a student information system.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with registration and using Datatel (Ellucian Colleague).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of FERPA (Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act), ability to follow detailed procedures to achieve a desirable outcome.
