South College invites applications for the position of Director of Student Services at the South College CBE campus. We are searching for a team-oriented individual with excellent communication and organization skills. The Director of Student Services is responsible for direction and management of student services at the campus. Responsibilities include supervision of student advisors, management of career services, Title IX coordination, disability services administration, orientation coordination, development and coordination of student organizations, and oversight of student publications and communication. The Director of Student Services serves as an advocate and resource for students and coordinates and facilitates student activities and workshops that benefit the student’s academic goals.
Requirements:
Master’s Degree•Preferred Minimum of three to five years professional experience working in higher education Strong interpersonal and communication skills Desired skills include: Ability to hire and supervise staff effectively and the capability to problem-solve and work independently. Strong organizational and technology skills, and a willingness to adapt to changing assignments, multiple priorities, and deadlines. Collaboration and the capacity to build strong relationships with campus leadership, faculty, staff, and students to develop and implement effective student success and retention strategies.
