Full Job Description Purpose and Scope:

The position supports the Superintendent’s Office by performing general office and/or clerical services and assists management with simple, routine or repetitive general or clerical tasks.

Essential Job Functions:

This position description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, knowledge or abilities associated with this classification, but are intended to accurately reflect the primary job elements. 1. Provides high-quality customer service along with a prompt acknowledgment to internal and external customers. 2. Performs routine clerical duties in accordance with standard procedures which may include photocopying, filing, tabulating information, answering phones and distributing mail. 3.Prepares various reports or tabulations from copy or rough draft, involving general or more technical information. 4. Provides general knowledge of rules, regulations or procedures to customers. 5. Maintains specialized records, processes forms and reports of a specialized nature in a technical field or special unit. 6. Utilizes data processing equipment for word processing, information input, and/or information retrieval. 7. Performs minimum research, maintains records and assist in the compilation of required data. 8. Maintains confidentiality regarding departmental and business matters. 9. Sorts, arranges, and files various correspondence, reports, vouchers and other materials; pulls requested materials from files 10. Reviews calendars and schedules meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School degree or equivalent. (PROOF

Degree Equivalency Formula:

Bachelor’s Degree= 4 years plus required years of experience. Master’s Degree= 2 years plus required years of experience. Where Master’s degrees are required, years for Bachelor’s Degrees must be included.
