This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for kindergarten students. The Kindergarten Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary is commensurate with certification and years of experience.
Qualifications:
BS/BA Degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood education. Florida Department of Education Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education K-5, temporary or professional required. Experience required in teaching early childhood. Must obtain catechetical certification within three years of hire. Excellent classroom management skills. Strong presentation skills with use of instructional technologies. Proficiency in Google, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus. Excellent oral and written English-language communication skills, including a clear speaking voice. Good spelling and grammar required. Fully committed and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church with knowledge of basic tenets of the Catholic Church; experience in the Roman Catholic environment preferred. Must have a professional demeanor.
