5th grade Elementary Teacher 2025-2026 CAMBRIDGE

PREP ACADEMY INC 2658 SW

Main Boulevard, Lake City, FL 32025 Fifth Grade Teachers prepare classrooms for students by setting up their teaching materials and video or computer equipment. They teach basic skills to encourage a continuos of reading and writinting, and keep records of student progress on tests and homework. They can also discipline students when needed. Other duties and responsibilities of a Fifth Grade Teacher job description may include: Teaching listening skills while making subjects fun and interesting Rewarding the best students with stickers, a spot on the class bulletin board, or other prizes Meeting with school administrators such as Principals or Vice Principals Following the school’s budget for classroom supplies Keeping up with changing technologies and teaching techniques Dispensing medication to students who need it and making sure that they don’t encounter any food or other substances that cause allergic reactions Notifying parents and getting their permission for field trips, school plays, and other activities Summary As a 5th Grade Elementary Teacher, you will be instrumental in fostering a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic success.
