Kindergarten/1st Grade Teacher Life Shifting Learning Academy 8190 Pensacola Boulevard, Pensacola, FL 32534 Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM-3:00 PM Friday 7:00 AM-1:30 PM Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment for students, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development. This role involves creating lesson plans, delivering instruction, and assessing student progress while ensuring that each child’s individual needs are met. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment. Assess and evaluate student performance through standardized testing and other assessment methods. Provide support for students with special educational needs, adapting teaching methods accordingly. Foster a nurturing environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities. Mentor students in their academic journey and personal growth. Incorporate physical education into the curriculum to promote overall health and well-being. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance instructional strategies and share best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field; teaching certification preferred. Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage diverse learners effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with students, parents, and staff. Experience in mentoring or tutoring students is a plus. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and educational assessments is beneficial.
