Primary School Educator Pentecostal Temple Preparatory Academy 6550 North Palafox Street, Pensacola, FL 32503 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students, utilizing innovative teaching methods, and supporting the diverse needs of all learners. This role involves developing engaging lesson plans, implementing curriculum, and promoting the overall growth and development of students in a classroom setting. Duties Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning. Utilize learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and engage students effectively. Assess student progress through various evaluation methods, providing feedback to support academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices in teaching. Support students with special education needs, including those on the autism spectrum, by adapting teaching strategies accordingly. Teach physical education classes, promoting physical health and wellness among students. Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Requirements Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning is highly desirable. Knowledge of special education practices and strategies for working with students with autism is essential. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive environment for all learners. Proficiency in using learning technology to facilitate instruction.
