We are looking for a teacher to lead a small group of students in grade 2 within the microschool. The teacher will have the rich opportunity to educate in a unique, progressive microschool setting. Responsibilities Manage and maintain a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management techniques. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. Utilize literacy and math education strategies to enhance student learning outcomes. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative educational environment. Incorporate relevant premium skills such as curriculum development and mentoring to support student growth. Utilize technology and specialized skills to support students with diverse needs and abilities.

Professional Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Education or related field Minimum three years experience teaching at the elementary level is preferred, but not required Ability to achieve strong social emotional and academic results using a social constructivist approach to learning Effective written and verbal communication skills Skills in differentiating curriculum and instruction for varied abilities and ages
