We are looking for a teacher to lead a small group of students in grade 2 within the microschool. The teacher will have the rich opportunity to educate in a unique, progressive microschool setting. The mission of our company is to support each child’s creative, academic, and emotional potential by providing an inspired, highly-personalized, diverse learning experience. This opportunity would be ideal for a teacher seeking an opportunity to be at the forefront of an educational movement, developing and implementing a rigorous and meaningful curriculum. Responsibilities Manage and maintain a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management techniques. Professional Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Education or related field Minimum three years experience teaching at the elementary level is preferred, but not required Ability to achieve strong social emotional and academic results using a social constructivist approach to learning Effective written and verbal communication skills Skills in differentiating curriculum and instruction for varied abilities and ages
