Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to implement early intervention strategies, and a solid understanding of educational administration and classroom management. Duties Model on a daily basis the conduct we expect of our students, and consistently exhibit the highest standards of professionalism. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a conducive learning environment. Provide individualized support and mentoring to students. Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and support staff to enhance student learning experiences. Assess and evaluate student progress. Integrate library services into the curriculum to promote literacy and research skills. Attend all professional gatherings and in-service meetings. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices. Serve the principal adult presence, advisor, and caregiver for each child in the homeroom throughout the school day. Attend institutional gatherings and events as necessary or requested by the Head of School in support of the School’s mission. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred. Experience working with children in an educational setting. Knowledge of early intervention strategies and practices. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff. Ability to mentor students and foster their academic growth. Commitment to creating an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
