Job Summary:

We’re looking for a passionate educator to teach elementary school students (grades K-5) using innovative, hands-on methods. The ideal candidate will share our commitment to Christian values and create a nurturing environment. We will prefer you over other candidates if you have experience in Montessori, Reggio Emila, Waldorf, or Orten Gillingham methodologies.

Responsibilities:

Teach core subjects: Math, Language Arts, History, Science, and Explorations Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities Assess student progress and provide feedback Communicate with parents and guardians through regular updates and conferences Collaborate with other teachers and staff members Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment Integrate biblical principles and character development into teaching Support students with varying learning styles and abilities Utilize technology and digital resources to enhance instruction Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities Assist with special events and activities (e.g., field trips, projects) Qualifications At least 2 years of teaching experience (homeschooling experience preferred) Ability to teach multiple grade levels (K-5) Excellent communication and classroom management skills Strong time management and planning skills Comfortable sharing and teaching biblical principles Joyful and positive attitude Alignment with our statement of Christian Faith What We Offer Part-time & Flexible Schedule (25 hours/week)
