Accelerated/ Gifted Math and Science Elementary Teacher 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars Miami, FL 33183 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for young students. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, implementing curriculum development, and supporting the diverse needs of children in the classroom. The Elementary School Teacher will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of students and promoting their overall development. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning. Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods, providing feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices in teaching methodologies. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student performance, behavioral issues, and academic progress. Support students with diverse needs, including those on the autism spectrum, ensuring that all learners receive appropriate accommodations. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends and enhance teaching skills. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; teaching certification

REQUIRED.

Experience working with students in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and effective lesson planning techniques. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment strategies. Ability to proofread educational materials for clarity and accuracy. A compassionate approach to working with children, particularly those with special needs or learning differences.
