Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team. As an Elementary School Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and futures of our students. You will create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters academic growth and personal development. Training and curriculum coaches available to guide and model lessons.
Duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide instruction in various subjects, including literacy, math, science, and social studies
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with special education needs
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students in active learning
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students as needed
- Plan and supervise physical education activities for students
Skills:
- Experience working with elementary school students
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in education
- Special education experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Experience in tutoring or providing additional support to students
- Proficient in lesson planning and curriculum development
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
