Central Christian Academy seeks a dedicated Elementary Teacher to inspire academic excellence and student growth. We are looking for an energetic ,• experienced Elementary Teacher• to join our team! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs.

Responsibilities Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum Teach reading and math skills Assist children with developing social and emotional skills Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques Communicate with parents and other school personnel Assess student’s skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones Develop and implement lesson plans that promote spiritual, intellectual, and emotional development. Maintain a safe, orderly, and Christ-honoring classroom environment. Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents to support students’ academic growth. Participate in school-wide activities, including chapel services, staff devotions, and extracurricular events. Integrate biblical principles and Christian character development into daily instruction. Maintain accurate records, including attendance, grades, and student evaluations. Uphold and model the values, mission, and statement of faith of Central Christian Academy. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and state teaching certification (Master’s degree preferred) Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines Problem-solving and mediation skills

Compensation:

$15.50 – $22.00 per hour Central Christian Academy (CCA) is a not-for-profit corporation. The academy was established as a faith-based K-12 academic institution in Florida, located at 5503 N Hiawassee Rd Orlando, FL 32818. The academy provides quality co-education in grades K-12 that is both Christ-centered and educationally sound.
