Major Responsibilities:
Create a
Christ-Centered Learning Environment:
Foster a nurturing classroom where students feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow.
Curriculum Implementation:
Teach all core academic subjects using the school’s established curriculum while providing a dynamic learning environment that stimulates creative thinking, motivates academic excellence and instills a lifelong desire to learn.
Instructional Planning:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive yearly plan that aligns with grade-level standards, development goals, and school objectives.
Creative Enhancements:
Enrich lessons with engaging, hands-on activities, projects, and creative teaching strategies to enhance learning and accommodate diverse learning styles.
Student Assessment:
Monitor and assess student progress regularly using formal and informal tools; adjust instruction to meet individual learning needs.
Parent Communication:
Establish and maintain open, professional, and positive relationships with parents to support student learning and well-being.
Classroom Management:
Develop and maintain a classroom management strategy that clearly communicates expectations to students and parents, as well as consequences for misbehavior.
Collaboration:
Work cooperatively with colleagues and administrators, participating in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide events.
Spiritual Leadership:
Model Christian character and discipleship, leading students in prayer, devotions, and regular discussions of faith in action.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education or related field (required) Valid teaching credential (required) Prior teaching experience at the elementary level (required) A clear commitment to Christian faith and integration of Biblical principles in education Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills Enthusiasm for working with children and inspiring a love for learning Willingness to support and uphold the mission and values of our school
