Chestnut Street, Kissimmee, FL 34759 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional growth of students. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles while promoting a love for learning among young children. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the needs of all students. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management techniques. Teach core subjects including Math, Literacy, and Physical Education, ensuring students achieve their learning objectives. Utilize Montessori methods and principles to enhance student engagement and independence in learning. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development. Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and education administration to ensure a cohesive educational experience. Support students with autism and other special needs by adapting teaching methods to meet individual requirements. Promote literacy education through innovative reading programs and activities. Maintain an organized classroom that is conducive to learning. Skills Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices. Proficient in classroom management strategies to maintain an effective learning environment. Excellent writing skills for developing lesson plans, assessments, and communication with parents. Knowledge of Montessori educational approaches is preferred but not required. Experience in teaching physical education is an asset. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of students, including those with special needs. Familiarity with education administration processes is beneficial for effective communication within the school community.
