Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Foster a supportive classroom environment that promotes literacy education and encourages student engagement. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed. Provide early intervention strategies for students requiring additional support in their learning journey. Teach physical education, promoting health, fitness, and teamwork among students. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning space. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student development. Mentor students, providing guidance on academic and personal growth. Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress with parents. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; teaching certification preferred. Experience working with elementary-aged students in a classroom setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of literacy education principles and early intervention strategies. Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering positive relationships with students. Experience in teaching physical education is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage students effectively.
