Elementary School TeachersGeneral Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and educational standards
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
• Provide instruction in various subjects, including math, science, language arts, and social studies
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and development
• Use effective behavior management techniques to promote a positive classroom environment
• Provide individualized instruction and support for students with special needs, including those with autism or other learning disabilities
• Utilize early intervention strategies to identify and address academic or behavioral challenges
• Incorporate technology into classroom instruction to enhance student learning
• Collaborate with the school librarian to promote literacy and provide library services to students.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification or license preferred (alternative certification options available
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies.
