Elementary School Educator New Horizons New Directions Prep Academy 814 Experiment St, Griffin, GA 30223 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Private Christian Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment for students, promoting their academic and social development, and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs. This role requires a commitment to nurturing young minds and supporting their growth through innovative teaching methods. Duties Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with educational standards and meets the needs of all students, including those with special education requirements. Create lesson plans that incorporate various teaching strategies, including the use of learning technology to enhance student engagement. Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods to tailor instruction accordingly. Provide mentorship and support to students, fostering a safe and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and specialists to support students with autism and other developmental challenges. Facilitate classroom activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and emotional well-being. Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding academic progress. Teach or led a Christ centered prayer every morning Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred. Experience in early childhood education or special education is highly desirable. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and effective lesson planning techniques. Proficiency in utilizing learning technology to enhance instructional delivery. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating strong individual initiative. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with educational best practices. Have a relationship with Jesus Christ,.
