Elementary Teacher for Homeschool (Certified, M-Th Mornings, 2 Kids) Teachers To Go LLC Covington, LA 70435 Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person elementary teacher to homeschool an 8 year old boy in 3rd grade and a 5 year old girl in kindergarten at their home in Covington

This is a great opportunity for the right teacher: a private homeschool position Monday-Thursday mornings from 9am-1pm (or 8:30am-12:30pm) that pays $50/hour ($800/week) . This opportunity begins the 2nd week of August for the upcoming fall 2025/26 school year. Looking for an elementary teacher to plan and implement daily lessons across core subjects using a faith-based private school curriculum for a 3rd grade boy, and also to teach a 5 year old girl. (Parents will supply the curriculum and collaborate with the teacher about the curriculum for the 5 year old girl.) The right teacher will be nurturing yet structured, and able to command respect. Looking for a self-starter who is experienced, with strong communication and organizational skills. Teacher candidates must be state-certified with a minimum BA, and have at least 3 years of teaching experience working with elementary-aged children. Some prior experience teaching faith-based curricula is a plus. The yearly calendar will follow the basic local school schedule.
