Our curriculum is thematic and interdisciplinary. Applicants must have outstanding teaching ability, sensitivity to the social and emotional needs of children, strong organizational skills, and be driven to explore ways to reach all learners through differentiated instruction in a child-centered classroom where assessment is varied. What you will do Teach all general studies subjects to third grade students Create and deliver appropriate lessons and regular assessments of students using a variety of teaching strategies Demonstrate academic excellence through a working knowledge of EHS’s core curriculum Integrate technology effectively to enhance instruction Work collaboratively with grade level teachers and specialists Communicate with parents openly and consistently through weekly newsletters, email and conferences Attend all required faculty meetings and school sponsored events Support the mission, philosophy, and core values of EHS Other responsibilities as assigned by the head of school Who you are Hold a bachelor’s degree in education; master’s degree is preferred Have 3-5 years teaching experience, with some experience in middle elementary grades A dynamic and flexible individual who loves teaching and understands how to engage third grade students Creative and flexible Committed to professional development Excellent collaborative and communication skills with a positive attitude and the ability to inspire curiosity and creativity in students Have references that speak to your ability to develop positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents Benefits Salary is $52,500 to $65,000, commensurate with experience Insurance options, including medical, dental, vision, life, and long term disability Travel assistance Paid time off for all national and Jewish holidays Early release Fridays Equal Opportunity Employer Epstein Hillel School is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion or creed, national or ethnic origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or military service in its hiring, employment or other programs and activities. srOfrwwpn4
