MSAD 75 is seeking a Grade 5 Teacher at Harpswell Community School to join our vibrant educational community. Together, we can inspire the next generation of learners and leaders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

: Showing passion and a commitment to helping all students learn at a high level. Contributing to a school culture of appreciation, collegiality, and innovation. Utilizing skills to be successful with intensive collaboration in a team-based, multi-grade approach to teaching and learning. Creating an inclusive classroom culture where all students feel they belong, and are excited to learn. Demonstrating a strong understanding of research-based Literacy and Mathematics instruction and assessment at the intermediate-elementary level, and the commitment to continue professional learning. Strong communication skills with students, colleagues, and parents. All other duties per teacher contract.

REQUIREMENTS

: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Elementary Education. State of Maine Department of Education Teacher Certification 020 General Elementary (K-6).
