The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for young learners. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, implementing curriculum, and supporting the diverse needs of students in an inclusive classroom setting. The Elementary School Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of children, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Duties Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse learning styles of students. Educate students in various subjects, including literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback to support their growth. Collaborate with special education staff to accommodate students with varying needs, including those on the autism spectrum. Utilize library services to enhance learning resources and promote literacy among students. Engage in curriculum development to ensure that educational content is relevant and effective. Teach physical education classes that promote health, fitness, and teamwork among students. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. Skills Strong background in early childhood education principles and practices. Experience working with children on the autism spectrum or with special education needs is highly desirable.
