We are seeking a creative, confident, team-oriented Instructional Support Teacher. The candidate must have experience in progressive educational development of elementary students and be able to contribute to our school community beyond the classroom. Specifically, the candidate must possess an extensive knowledge of curriculum best practices, be committed to academic excellence, and have a true passion for teaching. The qualified candidate will be expected to work with students K-5th Grade and be able to collaborate with classroom teachers.
Some job duties include:
Reading and Math intervention: develop groups and individualized instruction (push in or pull out) Maintain personalized learning plans for students whom need accommodations for academic success Dibel Reading Benchmark Assessment whole school, three times a year, progress monitor as necessary Curriculum support for teachers as needed Communication with curriculum vendors, ordering instructional materials IOWA testing coordinator Maintain in-house PD Assist with arrivals, dismissals, other campus activities Organize and manage school specific events/traditions Communicate with teachers on a regular basis to coordinate services being delivered and to communicate progress being made.
Requirements include:
