09/28/2025 Thorntons Ferry is seeking a highly motivated and creative Kindergarten Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Please note, this is a one year position. Thorntons Ferry School is a Pre-K to 4th grade elementary school with almost 600 students. We pride ourselves on being “better together” and establishing a strong sense of community among our students, families, and staff. The ideal candidate would be focused on building relationships, learning through play, teaching Social Emotional Skills, and providing meaningful learning opportunities to meet diverse needs. Strong communication skills amongst a large Professional Learning Team, a reflective practice, and the ability to collaboratively solve problems are crucial for a new member to our culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Current NH certification or statement of eligibility (SOE) in Elementary Education Hours per day: 7.5
