Childhood Teacher Position Summary:
The successful candidate will support the work of classroom teachers and the implementation of the elementary instructional curriculum focused on Computer Science and Digital Literacy/Citizenship and Keyboarding, and other content as designed. The successful candidate will teach students in Kindergarten to Grade 5, and will work under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent for Instruction to create the scope, sequence and curriculum for this new course. We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications: + Strong instructional design skills + Clear and concise communicator + Strong knowledge of instructional technology + Effectively collaborate with staff + Exemplify the WCSD vision, Core Beliefs, and Essential Skills + Candidates must have knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning
Responsibilities:
+ The TOSA for Elementary Encore will work with elementary teachers, supporting the implementation of curriculum and professional learning.
Salary:
As per current Webster Teachers Contract as well as education and experience.
