Our ideal candidate has an AMI Elementary diploma and at least three years of experience in a Montessori environment.

Start Date:

August 25, 2025. There may be the requirement of several hours of transition meetings with the current Upper Elementary teacher prior to the start of the school year.

Head of School Essential Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing child-led learning experiences according to the Montessori Elementary Curriculum Observing, documenting, and assessing children’s progress Communicating regularly with parents about their child’s development Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, with some requirement for attending curricular evening events Collaborating with colleagues to foster a supportive and nurturing learning environment Working with students to guide student-led initiatives, including our 6th grade Capstone Project, two student-written play performances, and two student talent shows per year.
