Job Description
Elementary Teacher, 3rd Grade Freeport Christian Academy 50 North Main Street, Freeport, NY 11520 Overview We are seeking a passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our educational institution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a dedication to fostering a positive learning environment for students. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in line with the curriculum
- Utilize instructional design techniques to create effective teaching materials
- Provide academic advising and support to students
- Manage classroom activities and behavior effectively
- Incorporate various teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Teaching certification or license
- Experience in special education is a plus
- Strong classroom management and behavior management skills
- Ability to utilize scriptures for Biblical integration
- Pastoral references required
