Welding Instructor Greater Johnstown School District Johnstown, PA 15906 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young students. This role requires a commitment to fostering academic growth, social development, and emotional well-being in children. The Elementary School Teacher will engage students through innovative lesson planning and effective classroom management techniques, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Educate students in various subjects, focusing on early childhood education principles. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning atmosphere. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and special education needs. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with parents, staff, and administration to support student development. Facilitate physical education activities that promote health and fitness among students. Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; certification in Elementary Education preferred. Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable. Strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and educational administration. Knowledge of special education practices is a plus. Ability to proofread educational materials for clarity and accuracy. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.
