Elementary Grade Teacher – Part Time It Takes A Village Homeschool Hybrid Community 701 Cherry St, Wind Gap, PA 18091 About us We are a small homeschooling hybrid community who supports homeschooling families by providing a hybrid model of education that reflects their educational goals. We aim to provide support for current home education plans by providing a classroom experience component that blends teacher-led, on-site instruction with outdoor play and exploration. Our community is conservative in nature teaching values held by previous generations. We are seeking a kindergarten or 1 learning level teacher for Thursdays and Fridays beginning September 2024 – May 2025. Contract is renewable for subsequent years. Ideal candidate is passionate about offering learners educational opportunities that go beyond the norm. They are interested in growing the whole child: head, hands, and heart and seek to instill a love of learning with a balanced approach through free play, games, and hands on activities. They are interested in cultivating creativity, encouraging imagination, and embrace individuality, while developing life skills in a home away from home. Montessori, Waldorf training as well as homeschooling experience a plus but not required.
