The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, implementing effective behavior management strategies, and supporting the overall growth and development of each student in a private school setting. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere. Teach physical education activities that promote health, fitness, and teamwork among students. Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods. Provide individualized support to students based on their unique needs and learning styles. Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administration to ensure the best outcomes for students. Mentor new teachers or interns in effective teaching practices and classroom management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable. Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored for young learners. Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior while promoting positive interactions among students. Experience teaching physical education is a plus. Excellent written communication skills for documenting student progress and communicating with parents. Previous experience in a private school environment is advantageous but not required.
