This role is eligible for a $5,000 bonus as well as up to $5,000for relocation expenses! New teachers start at $60,000, withMastery offering up to $82,000 based on experience and education.

Salaries range from $60,000 to $111,000, with growth opportunitiesas your career progresses.

Teaching science atMastery you will set high expectations and provide high support sothat all of your students are able to succeed. You will workalongside our Specialized Services and School Culture teams toensure your students receive the help they need to thrive. We utilize a team of Assistant Principals,central-office coaches, and school-based content teams to provideevery teacher coaching and feedback. Duties and Responsibilities:

Drive student achievement andset high expectations for all students Commit to professionalgrowth, self-reflection, a receptiveness to feedback, and a desireto continuously improve Implement rigorous and appropriate lessonplans, assignments, and assessments in cooperation with Masteryschool-based leadership and curricular resources developed byMastery’s central office Academic Team Work closely with schoolleaders to analyze student assessment data to measure progress anduse data to inform instruction Collaborate in grade level teams todiscuss student work, share best practices, plan events for joy andhumor, and ensure student mastery of standards Engage families intheir children’s education by building relationships andmaintaining regular communication Demonstrate genuine interest,belief, and care for students’ personal and academic successRespond positively and effectively to challenges with asolutions-oriented resiliency

Education, Experience, and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree required with a record of personal, professional,and/or academic achievement Teacher certification – completed or inprocess Demonstrated expertise in subject area Outstandinginstructional skills driven by data and delivered through rigorousand engaging strategies

Physical Requirements:

Ability tophysically perform the essential duties of the role, and to work inthe environmental conditions required, such as: traveling tonetwork campuses; maneuvering in office spaces (including standing,walking, sitting for long periods of time, speaking loudly andclearly, seeing and hearing things both near and far away);stooping, kneeling, reaching file cabinets/shelves; fine finger andhand manipulation in use of computer, chalkboard, dry erase,&/or projectors; filing, faxing, scanning, coping, typing,mailing, and making phone calls; sitting for up to two (2) hourslooking at a computer monitor, using a keyboard/mouse, and typing.
