Requirements:
State of South Carolina Teachers License with endorsements Bachelors degree in education, Math, Science, or a related field 2+ Years of experience is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities:
Develop lesson plans that align with curriculum standard for math and science Facilitate classroom-based interactive experiences for students to engage with material, particularly in science Introduce and explain fundamental math concepts such as arithmetic, geometry, or basic algebra and science concepts like ecosystems, physical science, or the scientific method Evaluate student understanding of concepts through assessments, homework, and class participation Prepare students for exams required by district and State policies Establish and maintain classroom rules to ensure a conducive learning environment for all students Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success Inspire students to explore math and science beyond the classroom Provide guidance and a supportive environment that fosters young learners
