Our Upper Elementary teachers work together to design and present the Montessori Upper Elementary curriculum to students, assess student progress through a variety of modalities and maintain thorough record-keeping. Our teachers provide opportunities and guidances that supports students’ physical, social, and emotional development in addition to the academic development. Teachers develop working relationships with students’ families through regular open communication, conferencing and classroom observations. Teachers are expected to continuously reflect and develop their teaching practices, participating in continuing education opportunities and professional development.
