• Job Overview:

• We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in elementary education and child development. The successful candidate is not required to be Catholic but must be willing to support the mission of the school and embrace its Catholic identity.

• Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to the curriculum
• Utilize various teaching methods to ensure student understanding of concepts
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Communicate effectively with parents with regard to student achievement and concerns
• Establish routines and classroom procedures to effectively manage classroom behaviors and the learning environment
• Conduct ongoing assessments of student progress, modifying and adapiting instruction based on assessment results
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall culture of the school
• Participate in ongoing professional development
• Foster a love for learning

• Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field;
• State teaching certification in Elementary Education is preferred, but not required
• The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of effective methods for teaching reading to children.
