Electrical Engineering Qualifications Required:

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field from accredited programs with 18 hours of graduate-level coursework in the previously mentioned disciplines.
Demonstrated experience teaching courses in Process Controls, Motor Controls, Instrumentation, Energy Conservation, Power Systems, Robotics, Industrial Wiring, etc. Experience with programming and controlling industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, or KUKA).
Practical experience in industrial wiring and electrical systems.
Ability to teach both theoretical concepts and hands-on applications.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Commitment to student success and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Desired:

Terminal Degree Electrical Engineering Technology, Engineering, or closely related field from accredited programs; ABDs considered.
Demonstrated effectiveness in applying technology and hands-on learning to teaching.
Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience in higher education.
Minimum of three or more years of professional field experience in the discipline.

Responsibilities:

Teach on-campus and/or online courses for the Division of Engineering Technology.
Fulfill other faculty responsibilities, including student advisement and creative projects.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chairperson or Dean.
Willingness to collaborate and thrive in a team environment.
