Job Summary/Basic Function The Department of Engineering Technology at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a full-time, temporary (non-tenurable) faculty position (#127090) at the rank of lecturer. This is a one-year temporary appointment. The contract may be renewed annually based on available funding, demonstrated need, and satisfactory performance as assessed by annual evaluations. The start date for the appointment is August 1, 2025. The successful candidate is expected to teach classes such as Engineering Fundamentals using Matlab, PLCs, and Project Management. Required Education A master’s in engineering technology, engineering management, or a closely related field is required by the appointment date. Required Related Experience One (1) year of full-time or part-time professional teaching experience in Matlab or PLCs required by the appointment date. Other Desirables Applicants with industrial experience will receive special consideration.
