Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the school’s curriculum
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
• Provide instruction in various subjects, including math, literacy, and library services
• Utilize early intervention strategies to support students’ academic and social-emotional development
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
• Attend professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills

Experience:

• Previous experience working with elementary school students preferred
• Familiarity with childcare practices and principles
• Strong knowledge of lesson planning techniques and curriculum development
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs is a plus
