Job Description

6th Grade ELA Teacher (2025-2026) 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars 10250 University Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32817 Bridge the Gap, Spark a Passion Do you have a passion for language arts and a desire to ignite a love of reading and writing in middle school students? We’re seeking a dedicated and innovative ELA teacher to join our vibrant school community!

What You’ll Do:

Craft engaging and comprehensive ELA curriculums aligned with state and national standards, fostering a love for literature, writing, and critical thinking. Create a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment where students actively participate in discussions, explore diverse texts, and hone their communication skills. Tailor instruction to cater to individual needs and learning styles, ensuring every student thrives. Develop and deliver effective assessments to measure student progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide targeted feedback. Collaborate effectively with parents, guardians, and school leaders to promote student success and foster positive relationships. Continuously develop your professional skills through workshops, conferences, and self-directed learning to stay at the forefront of effective ELA instruction.

Strong understanding of middle school ELA curriculum standards and a passion for language arts.

Ability to create engaging lessons, manage a classroom effectively, and communicate clearly with students, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. Valid Florida State Teaching Certification. Experience in developing and implementing effective ELA curriculum. Strong classroom management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Education or a relevant field. Experience teaching middle school ELA. Proficiency in integrating technology to enhance learning.
