Position Summary:

Hidden Oaks K-8 is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and innovative 4th Grade Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a student-centered classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and personal growth. You will be responsible for designing and implementing instruction aligned to state standards, using data to inform instruction, and working collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies aligned with Florida State Standards. Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with IEPs and ELLs. Foster a positive, respectful classroom culture that supports student learning and development. Use data to assess student progress, provide feedback, and adjust instruction accordingly. Collaborate with grade-level team members, support staff, and administration to enhance the learning experience. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom happenings. Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field (required) Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education (K-6) or eligibility for certification Strong classroom management skills and a passion for teaching Familiarity with standards-based curriculum and data-driven instruction Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to equity and inclusion in education

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior teaching experience in upper elementary grades ESOL and/or Reading Endorsement Experience with technology integration in the classroom
