K-5 Educator with Dual Language Focus Dreamers Academy 2146 Myrtle Street, Sarasota, FL 34234 Apply online at https://www.dreamersacademy.org/en/join-the-dream-team/ Dreamers Academy is a K-5 public charter school that uses the instructional model of Dual Language Immersion Two-Way. Florida (FLDOE) elementary K-5 or PreK-3 certification required. Start now or next school year – August 2025. We are interviewing English-speaking, Spanish-speaking and bilingual teachers. We have a co-teaching model in which students spend alternate days learning all grade-level content in English and in Spanish. Although being bilingual is preferred, it is not a requirement for the position. Manage classroom dynamics effectively to foster a positive learning atmosphere. Assess and monitor student progress in literacy and math, providing tailored support as needed. Collaborate with co-teachers to deliver dual language instruction and ensure curriculum alignment. You will work in one language with a co-teacher working in an adjacent classroom with the part ner language. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student development and address concerns. Utilize technology and resources to enhance learning experiences for all students.
