Typical Job Duties:

Provide adapted instruction and materials for students with blindness or low vision Teach braille literacy, assistive technology use, and compensatory access skills Coordinate with general education teachers and therapists to support IEP implementation Promote student independence and accessibility across academic settings Maintain required records and progress reports

Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Education of the Visually Impaired Valid Florida teaching license with TVI endorsement Proficiency in braille instruction and educational tools for the visually impaired Must meet all federal and Florida DOE guidelines for school-based educators
