English Language Arts Teacher Grades 9-12 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars 130 Haliwa Saponi Trl, Hollister, NC 27844 ## Job Summary We are seeking a passionate Language Arts Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and a love for literature and writing. As a Language Arts Teacher, you will be responsible for developing engaging lesson plans, fostering a love of reading and writing, and helping students improve their language skills. ## Duties
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Teach students various aspects of language arts, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their assignments and assessments
- Utilize creative teaching methods to engage students in the learning process
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
- Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance learning opportunities ## Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
- Teaching certification in Language Arts or English
- Strong knowledge of educational principles and practices
- Experience in education administration is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Proficiency in writing and editing using the Chicago Manual Style
- Familiarity with special education practices and lesson planning techniques
- Knowledge of library services and resources is advantageous
