Appointment beginning Fall 2025. A minimum of a Master’s degree is required and 18 hours of graduate courses in English. PhD preferred. The successful candidate will have experience teaching English courses at the college level and have a strongmitment to undergraduate teaching. Courses may be taught in person at the Allendale campus, Walterboro campus, local high schools or online. The teaching load is twelve contact hours per semester. Participation in campusmittees are expected. In addition to granting associate degrees, USC Salkehatchie is part of USC’s Palmetto College which involves offering four-year degrees online. Summer teaching opportunities are available, depending on funding and curricular need. Full Time, 9-month Temporary Faculty (TFAC) renewable contract.
