Full Job Description Qualifications:

Part-Time Middle/High School Teacher- Concentration in English Bethel Bible Village is a faith-based residential home for children of families in crisis. Located on the Bethel Bible Village campus in Hixson, TN, Bethel Christian Academy (BCA) is a non-public Christian college preparatory school, providing a smaller classroom environment. We are currently seeking a part-time Middle/High School English Teacher with ability to teach other subjects.

Spiritual:

Be an active participating Christian in a local congregation.

Education:

Related bachelor’s degree required.

Specific Skills:

Experience working with youth who may have academic and behavioral concerns preferred. Excellent classroom management skills required. Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and previous computer experience required.

License:

Current license or preparation to obtain license in TN required. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Other Requirements:

Applicant must be lawfully authorized to work in the U.S., and successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.
