High School English Teacher Margolin Hebrew Academy 390 South White Station Road, Memphis, TN 38117 Overview Margolin Hebrew Academy is an Orthodox Jewish school for children in grades Pre-K3 through 12 located in Memphis, Tennessee. We are hiring an experienced educator who specializes in English Language Arts for the 2025-26 school year. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Conduct research to stay updated on educational best practices and integrate findings into teaching strategies. Provide academic advising to students, helping them set goals and prepare for higher education opportunities. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. Requirements A solid background in technology and a qualification as a Reading Specialist, in ESL or in SPED is preferred. A BA is required and a MA is preferred Experience in high school education teaching or private school settings is a plus.
