Job Description
The Department of World Languages, Literatures, & Cultures at High Point University is accepting applications for adjunct instructors to teach introductory courses in Italian starting from August 2025. Responsibilities include course preparation, meeting with students during office hours, and communicating with students outside of class via Blackboard, email, or telephone.
Qualifications Education:
A master’s degree in Italian language, literature, teaching, or a related field Near-native fluency in
English and Italian Experience/Training:
College-level teaching experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience using technology in and out of the classroom and a student-centered, communicative-based teaching philosophy. Evidence of successful teaching is also desirable.
