Academic Writing Coach Position Available In Mercer, New Jersey

Academic Writing Coach SciCore Academy Hightstown, NJ 08520 P/T writing instructor position for a private K-12 school for academically motivated students. The successful candidate should be an excellent writer, have excellent communication skills, and have a passion for building students’ writing skills. The position involves teaching various types of writing (expository, creative, research papers, note-taking) to high school and middle school students (grades 5 – 12). Proof-reading, grading, and use of Google Classroom are important aspects of the position. We are seeking an energetic team player who can adapt to the school’s educational philosophy and teaching techniques and is able to continually challenge and inspire our students. Candidate must hold at least a bachelor’s degree in English, literature, communications, classics, journalism, or a related field. Candidate should be able to demonstrate excellence in writing and interpretation of literature through a thesis, publication or other literary contribution.
