English and Literature PCCC is seeking qualified Adjunct Faculty to teach daytime Developmental English courses in the Fall 2025. Courses are available in the 12-week semester meeting twice or three times a week. Accelerated Academic English Courses will be available in the 6-week semester meeting four times a week throughout the semester. Examples of Duties
Teach assigned classes in accordance with the College’s academic calendar and approved syllabi.
Meet all scheduled class sessions.
Maintain and report accurate student grade and attendance records using approved procedures and systems.
Participate in assessment activities in support of the PCCC institutional effectiveness program.
Attend professional development activities as needed
Utilize the appropriate technology, including the College’s student learning platform, to fulfill teaching duties.
Qualifications
A master’s degree in education, English or related field
Teaching experience is required; Community college teaching experience is preferred.
Experience with diverse populations preferred.
Experience teaching with a Learning Management system (LMS) such as Blackboard is preferred but not required.

Compensation:
The pay for this position is $929 per credit taught.
